We hear people saying that we need to be saved, but have you ever wondered what exactly it is that you need to be saved from. This phrase is used may times in the Bible for example the Phillipian Jailer  once asked Paul "sirs what must I do to be saved?"

That is the most important question we ever will ask?

What must I do to be saved and what do I need to be saved from.

First we need to answer what must I be saved from, simply this, The Judgment, Wrath, and Condemnation of God caused by our sins. The Bible tells us "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The Bible also tells us that "the wages of sin is death"

Also "the soul that sinneth it shall die" So, in order to escape these conditions God in His mercy created a Plan of Salvation, a way that we can escape Gods certain wrath.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"

Again we need to go back to the Phillipian Jailers question: "What must I do to be saved"

Paul gave this man an answer "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and

Thou shall be saved"

Gods Plan is so simple

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thy heart God has raised Him from the dead thou shall be saved"

It is as easy as "ABC

Admit We are a sinner

Believe the Gospel message

Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Shall be saved"

Why don't you call on Him today
