WMU

The WMU of Menlo First Baptist Church is comprised of a group of

ladies who have desired to be supportive of our missionaries,

both those who serve at home and those who serve around the world.

The WMU meets the third Sunday evening of each month

one hour before evening worship services.  At these meetings the work of

a select number of missionaries is discussed and prayed for.

It is the Goal of the WMU to encourage contributions to the Annual

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for missionaries.

The WMU also is supportive of a number of other projects; such as

 quarterly contributions to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home,

supplying paper goods and other items to bereaved families in the church,

preparing sunshine baskets fo sick and needy families in the community.

All ladies of the church are encouraged to become members of the WMU

and join in obeying our Lord's command to go and spread the gospel

to all the world.
