What We Believe
The Bible
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. The Holy Spirit inspired and told the biblical authors what to write.
Who is the Trinity?
We believe the three persons of God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are individual persons based on
their eternal relation to one another.
Who is God?
As God is spirit, we believe God
is all knowing, all powerful, and all present. He exists in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Who is Mankind?
Man is made in the image of God. Adam and Eve were brought into existence with fellowship with God; however, sin broke that relationship. Restoration is found through faith in Christ.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is fully human and fully God. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect sinless life, died on the cross for OUR sins, rose from the grave, ascended to Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us.
What is Salvation?
Salvation is redemption or deliverance. Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Salvation is admitting you are a sinner, believing in Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and confessing your sin to God.
What is Sin?
Sin is "missing the mark" or failure to live up to God's law. Sin is universal, because “sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” Sin separates us from God.
Who is the Church?
The church is God's people. We are called to share the gospel and be on mission for God.
